Best American sweets
Best American sweets There is a wonderful sweet shop in Birmingham UK, too damn close to my place of work. They stock American, Australian, South African and Japanese sweets. Also stocked are English and European sweets. I have been re-living my time in the USA through sweets. My top American sweets are: (1) Zero bar (2) Clark (3) Hot Tamales (4) Butterfinger (5) Big Red chewing gum (6) Mike & Ikes (7) Lemon head and friends chewy sweets ( Charleston chew (9) Tootsie Roll (10) Jelly Belly lolly In other news, my local Asda (Part of the Walmart group), has started stocking margerine with honey in it. I loved the Country Crock version in the USA. Don't ever give up searching for the fun in life. |

Yes there is nothing to bring back fond memories like your favorite local candy. I was super fond of a german salted licorice I used to get when we lived in Europe back in the 1970s but I haven't seen any since 1985 of any brand. There was a rumor that it caused brain damage, but I didn't get brain damage until I got hit with a truck in 2001
