Easter's coming - where is spring?

One day at a time - I opened some blogs on my watched list, I wrote a comment and moved on to the next without hitting the Submit button, meaning to return to check the spelling and that sort of stuff, but before I could get back my laptop bluescreened and I lost the lot.

So if I appeared and disappeared again without a comment am sorry.... blame the Windows.

I saw this somewhere and wondered what the title should be. I'm sure it should be funny - but I can't think.

The words "window" and "crack" come to mind - as does "butt" and "real life cyber sex" and "what we did before computers" - but I cannot think of a way to put them together properly.

It's Friday here in Ireland and most people have the day off work, well offices anyway, as we have next Monday. Hope you get some time off over the Easter period too.

I ventured into the garden to do some summer planning - but it's far too cold so came back to the laptop and signed into the site. I find myself smiling recently, while reading peoples posts - well not smiling at the serious ones, but smiling cause it feels good to be in touch. Now off out too look at the garden again -and some wishful thinking....

Hold Fast to Dreams, For if Dreams die,
Life is a broken winged bird that cannot fly!

I suppose that at times of major crises in one's life, one has to re-assess everything, a reason for life, a reason for living, a reason to get up in the morning and a reason for being.

This is a thought process from which one should find a reason for being and the strength achieve that. But first we must bury our dead dreams and lost realities and then seek to build new ones from the ashes.

- I see a red door and I want to paint it black.
- I see a stone wall and imagine a car wreck.
- Sinking into an abyss, from which there is no escape, knowing where you're going but being unable to stop it.
- Each day is more complicated, yet there is no future beyond the next breath you take.
- It was easy when saving others but not so easy to save yourself.

The End....

It's not often that a singer/songwriter can capture a story so completely in their lyrics... but so it was with Lana Del Rey - and an unfolding story in my life.

One day on line and chatting and exchanging link to various web sites... I hit upon a song... and I had to go looking.... after all she was coming to Dublin and this sounded like it summed up our relationship and dreams and maybe just the way we were and would be together.....

Everybody told me I was falling in love
I said, "You would fall too, if you knew what I was dreaming of"

I got the ice - You got the fire
I've got the stuff - To take you higher
Ahhh, that's how you played it

I got the brains - You got the money
This is a race - Let's go fast honey
Ahhh, that's how you played it

Come on pretty baby - I'll be takin' you down
They say you got crazy - Like, all over town

Every time I close my eyes - It's like a dark paradise
No one compares to you
I'm scared that you - Won't be waiting on the other side
Dark Paradise Promo - Lana Del Rey

And so it was that she arrived and departed. The next time I went looking for the song was when I was making a memorial video.. and I listened to more of her tracks....

Blue jeans, White shirt
Walked into the room you know you made my eyes burn
It was like James Dean, for sure
You so fresh to death & sick as ca-cancer
You were sorta punk rock, I grew up on hip hop
But you fit me better than my favorite sweater, and I know
That love is mean, and love hurts
But I still remember that day we met in December, oh baby!

I will love you till the end of time
I would wait a million years
Promise you'll remember that you're mine
Baby can you see through the tears?
Love you more
Than those bitches before
Say you'll remember, oh baby, say you'll remember
I will love you till the end of time...
Blue Jeans - Lana Del Rey

OMG I thought as I looked at the photo I had of her in her Blue Jeans and White Shirt... and we had met in December... another tear trickled down my cheek, pooled on my chin before dropping to the ground.

I'm lying in the ocean, singing your song
Ahhh, that's how you sang it
Loving you forever, can't be wrong
Even though you're not here, won't move on
Ahhh, that's how we played it

And there's no remedy for memory your face is
Like a melody, it won't leave my head
Your soul is haunting me and telling me
That everything is fine - But I wish I was dead

But that there's no you, except in my dreams tonight,
Oh oh oh, ha ha ha
I don't wanna wake up from this tonight

There's no relief, I see you in my sleep
And everybody's rushing me, but I can feel you touching me
There's no release, I feel you in my dreams
Telling me I'm fine

Everytime I close my eyes - It's like a dark paradise
No one compares to you
I'm scared that you won't be waiting on the other side

Dark Paradise - Lana Del Rey

Oh How I wish you could just hear the music instead of just reading words.... for there are No Words to explain how I feel, no words of consolation, no concept of how a whole world came crashing down. But this site works no matter what you are searching for... just never wait until it is too late... An Amazing Journey Ends.

Valentine's Day - thoughts revisited

To family, friends and people everywhere, on this special day, hold tight the ones you love for you never know the hour or the day.

When we find something precious we cup it in our hands to protect it.

Whether it be the beauty of a butterfly or a simple seed from a dandelion or the love of our life, we shape our hands into a little cup to protect it and to keep it safe inside.

Happy Valentines Day.

I looked up into the night sky and watched the cresent moon descend below the horizon, followed closely by Venus or Mars or was it Jupiter.

I saw the plow, the big dipper, and watched a shooting star flash overhead. I marvelled at the wonders of the Universe and hoped that there was a God somewhere to take credit for the things I had observed.

Yet nothing in the night sky compares to the wonders that surround us every day. The wonders of the human mind, the wonders of the human body, where my mind can often stray!

Did you know that the bones of St. Valentine are on view in a Dublin Church?

Well it used to be that you sent anonymous cards to potential lovers but today it's much more complex and costly, but the tradition is still quite nice and quaint - although, nowadays we are suspicious of unsolicited males (and

And now that we have gone all IT and Teckie with computers on our mobile phones, instead of asking St. Valentine for advice we need to turn to our IT Support Team.

For those of you who cannot read the text in the image above - here it is repeated - just in case anyone needs advice - and this year it is extra dangerous for all single men cause 15 days after St. Valentine's day is the 29th of February and we all know what that means.... lol!

******** Valentine Support for Desperate Housewife *************

Dear IT Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a slow down in the overall performance, particularly in the flower, gifts and jewellery applications that had operated flawlessly under boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 un-installed many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, but installed undesirable programs such as Formula One 5.0, GAA 3.0 and World Cup 2.0.

And now Conversation 8.0 no longer runs and House Cleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.
What can I do?

Signed, Desperate Housewife

Dear Desperate Housewife,

First keep in mind: Boyfriend 5.0 is an entertainment package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system.

Try entering the command C:\ I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME and download Tears 6.2 to install Guilt 3.0. If all works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewellery 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

But remember, overuse can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Late Night Kebab 6.1. Late Night Kebab 6.1 is a very bad program that will create FartingLoudly.wav files.

Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-in-Law 1.0 or reinstall another Boyfriend program. These are not supported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have a limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider additional software to improve memory and performance. I personally recommend Hot Tasty Food 3.0 and Tongue Kisses 6.9.

Signed, IT Support Manager

Spring and Cleaning are like Jackel and Hyne or Thelma and Louise (or whatever takes your fancy), they go well together, but when things get out of control and the vacuum cleaner don't work, and the duster has more dust then the undusted spots.... sometimes I think I'm fighting a loosing battle!

Well been a busy few weeks doing things like this and that and others, but just had to assign myself some time to take off the maids outfit and to drop in to see how everyone is doing - well I hope!

Now, time management was never my strong point, I tend to under estimate the time it takes to do something. Sometimes that is good and other times that causes over run - many times I wish there were eight days a week along with two weeks (now that would be great).

I used to feel guilty at my hoarding, but am watching a few programs on "picking" and confess that I am not as bad as some peole who have barns full of stuff.... I think it's time to get a skip (dumpster) and put my will power to the test.

Anyway, I have so much catching up to do.... have to cut the carpet and vacuum the lawn (or was that the other way around) - house, beware, there is a mad man on the loose.... have a great weekend.
Well you would - would you not?

The "Fasten Seatbelts" light flickered and the last passengers took their seats. I wondered who would take seat 34D, that's beside 34F on this plane, and me. She took the seat beside me and introduced herself, we stated chatting. I thought, "I have a talker" to myself, but that proved unfair, her voice and company was pleasant and interesting and I barely noted "pushback and start" or even when we entered the air.

The lights were dimmed, the movie showing, the cabin silent except for the occasional passing crew member checking if we had drinks of coffee and was "everything ok?". Then my travelling partner said something that caught me completely off my guard "That air hostess likes you!" - and in response to my puzzled look she explained that she smiled every time she passed this way - and "would you?" was her next question.

Well I had never really given the matter any thought, I was just on a flight from A to B but as I thought about her - her warm smile, her friendly face, her uniform, skirt and stocking, I found myself wondering and nodding in response. Suppose that is how the conversation changed from politics, flying, the news and elections, good places to eat and visit... "and do you think" she added " that what they say is true?" - and responding to my puzzled "What?" - "U-no, an orgasm at thirty five thousand feet is more intense owing to the lower air pressure..." (Now am tempted to ask you readers if you ever considered this fact, the pressure release at orgasm time, for man and woman, is based on ground athmospherics so in areas of less pressure would the orgasm be more intense? - which begs me to ask the question "Do they have better sex in the Andes and Himalayas or roaming the High Plains?").

And I suppose that was why, in the sake of science, we decided that we would have to experiment to find an answer to that question as neither of us were in the mile high club (what about you my reader?).

I could go on to describe how we pulled the in-flight blanket up a little higher, how I slipped my hand down her panties, how I moved my fingers and how she reacted - but that would be a blog on sex and not scientific.

I could explain how it became impossible so we adjourned to the in-flight restroom and how it was in the confined space, and how it wasn't but - I think it's fair to say that the theory could have been tested many times that flight - for, not alone were we the couple in the restroom, but there was many a couple after us.

Well would you, wouldn't you?

By dawn on New Year's morning, I had broken every NewYear resolution.

Sometimes we just drift along, others we let things slide,
but life is filled with smoothness,
little steps and bigger ones and
occasional gaint leaps of faith.

Sometimes we let things build by inactivity until,
the pressure and force for change
prevents those little steps that we can reverse
and forces us into change.

These we often refer to as Crossraods in life's path for once a leap of faith is taken, there is no going back.Really I am referring to things like moving house, or changing job, or city or state, or getting married or seperating.

But in smaller ways too, we allow ourselves to drift, not that drifting is a bad thing, drifting in the Gulf while basking in the warm sun for example, and so I find that I am heading for a Cross Roads in my life. Not just one but more like a spaghetti junction of decisions lie ahead.

I look at the empty space in my bed and wonder will it ever be filled again, and of so at what price and is it something I'm prepared to pay. I am, of course, referring to emotional committment and not to dollar signs or Euros - just something I was musing when I thought about what the future might have in store for me and how a number of different steps could change everything and how I might juggle everything, job, and committments and stuff in a brave new world that can only be reached by careful consideration and a blind leap of faith.

I still don't know what I was waiting for
And my time was running wild
A million dead-end streets
Every time I thought I'd got it made
It seemed the taste was not so sweet
So I turned myself to face me
But I've never caught a glimpse
Of how the others must see the faker
I'm much too fast to take that test

Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes - (Turn and face the strain)
Ch-ch-Changes - Don't want to be a richer man
Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes (Turn and face the strain)
Ch-ch-Changes - Just gonna have to be a different man
Time may change me - But I can't trace time.

I watch the ripples change their size
But never leave the stream
Of warm impermanence and
So the days float through my eyes
But still the days seem the same....

Strange fascination, fascinating me
Changes are taking the pace I'm going through

Pretty soon you're gonna get a little older
Time may change me - But I can't trace time
I said that time may change me - But I can't trace time.

Have I lost my blogging touch, on what it means to write erotica, or is it just a passing phase, one from which I will awaken, driven by the inspiration that pounds restlessly in my head and between my legs?

Rising into Hades, the underworld, digging deeper into my brain, the desire to seek the pleasures of the flesh remain, but are restrained.

The constant battle between reality and indifference reign unabated. Is it best not to seek and remain restrained or.... to seek and risk disappointment?

Where can I find the words to express the complexities inside my head? There are none, but gazing into my eyes and beyond, into the neuro transmitters in my brain, one can watch as fleeting images flicker in my head.

I have a story in my head, been coming through in waves, in sleepness and in wakening, in my minds eye, maybe some day it will be committed to paper! Til then where to next?

The scent, the touch, the taste of woman, the naked flesh, each part visited.

The curve, the shape, the orgasm or the anticipation?
so lets have a smile for an old engine driver...
.... The Who

And did I hear you say?

I missed you and I must admit,
I kissed a few and once did sit
On Ivor the Engine Driver's lap
And later with him, had a nap.
.... The Who
