My Very Contented Pussy... Made ya look...  Seriously though, this is Ava. This is Ava who misses her Maggie, and though she seldom had time for me when her buddy was here, she now finds herself having to lower her standards and play with me.  She's not quite up to the snuggling yet, and she def can't warm my side of the bed the way Mag's did, but, she does try. She has started meeting me at the door, not to say that she's wagging her tail, it's more like..."Good, you're home...feed me, and while you're at it, a treat would be nice too, and if that's not too much for you then how about sitting here and throwing my feather prey around for a couple of hours." I must admit...I've grown so used to "puppy-love" that it's been a lil hard changing gears to "kitty-love". We're getting there though, yep...she even rolled over and allowed me to rub her belly this afternoon without drawing blood. That's progress...right? Naw, she really does love me, I know cuz she likes to butt my head with her head and make me sneeze. ah...choo  I make mistakes, I am out of control & at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best. ~Marilyn |

Heh, she looks like she could be related to Mercury. Merc loved his Buddy, the schnauzer I had when he was a kitten and up until about 5 years ago. He now claims Ginger as his dog. He tolerates Spike. He still ends up in bed with me, snuggled in against my back. Have tongue, will use it. Repeatedly.

Dog energy and Cat energy R seriously different! I used to have a little dog that was so happy to see me or ANYONE when they came to the house that she just peed all over herself. I named her Lucy because she was born on Lucille Ball's birthday and all I could think of was *everybody loves Lucy*. Well, they did and part of that might have been because Lucy really loved everyone. A little bit of detached cat energy might have been helpful to that little pup and she just was her dog self always. Unconditional. Happy to see ya no matter what. She was a love. Like you with Maggie, I had to have her put to sleep and to this day I often times muse about times with her that were loving beyond human comprehension. Dogs are like that, you know...  I'm happy I was born in the year of the dog.Sending you love... {=} Just a little food for thought............. If you really want to be happy, nobody can stop you... {=}

I finally got another computer when mine decided to fry last month and trying to get caught up on blogs. After 3 weeks of trying I was finally able to get YH Message thingy downloaded so if'n I ever have time to be online I will "chat" you up. Hang in there. It may take some getting used to but I think very soon now you will come to love pussy I am not dead yet
