V for
Today while doing work and was trying to pronounce V, which could sound like B, so I say the V for virgin, and the girl colleague was laughing. she asked how could I had used V for virgin as it is not a usual V for......, asked some others and they said, victory, victorious, vendetta, Vincent, Vietnam, Vienna and they just smile and got disturb for few minutes but bring some light moment during busy time of work. hahaha.

As for I said it is virgin air... they just laughed harder

So innocent.


International standard would be "Victor" (victory is close).
However, here in SG have heard country names being used quite often (e.g. Vietnam for "V").
