Affiliated sites??
Affiliated sites?? So im bumbling along quite happily, when a friend tells me that he's seen my pic/profile on a site called "sex with slags", oh and he got an answer from this profile when he messaged 'her'. Now apart from the fact that i take offense to the very name of that site, AsianMatchMate.com is the only one i'm on legitimately, sure im looking for sex - but not indiscriminately and preferably with a bit of friendship thrown in first!! Its bloody identity theft, pretty sure thats illegal in just about every country world wide, where do these people get off with just robbing me of my face? Anyone got any suggestions? |

I suggest you g00gle your username and see just how many hits you find. Your photo, your profile and you blog will appear on hundreds if nt thousands of affiliate and co brand sites and there is nothing you can do about it. This has been hashed out here with the site before and although one or two sites with terrible names were removed....more have taken their place. If you don't want to be recognised....move the face pics to a friends only folder. ~~Anais Nin~~

SexySixties is correct and gives sound advice re pics. Just to clarify further.. your profile will appear on affiliate/co-brand sites exactly as it does on AsianMatchMate.com (I'm assuming you joined via A.F.F. but could be wrong as it is impossible to know) People joining via these 'partner' sites will see exactly the same site as we (A.F.F.) do, just with a different header, e.g. 'SexWithSlags dot com', as the database (and apparent membership) is exactly the same. To use an analogy - we are all in the same building but people enter the building via different doors which have different signs over the door. Not much we can do about it, as we agree to this arrangement when we join (forms part of the site's Terms Of Use), the site owns any content (profiles/pics/blogs etc) we upload here, and can publish it anywhere it likes. What appears to be different in your case is that someone received a reply to message from 'your' profile there, this should not happen and I have not heard of it happening, the only exception being if you have an auto-reply set up here it will work via the 'affiliate' sites too. If this was a 'personal/individual' reply and not your own auto-reply it is possible that someone has stolen your photo and used it on another (unconnected) site. Hope this helps to clarify, no doubt it's clear as mud now It's shit, but that's the way it is
