No Fingers Either????? So.....I'm feeling alot better. Actually getting better everyday. I am really trying to be a good girl...and obey the doctors orders. But, I'm starting to get bored with resting...although if I overdo it, I feel it. And, I still have this 6-8 weeks of NO SEX!!!!! I just re-read my post op instructions to make sure! And it is adament! No tampons....who needs them anymore. Hooray! No baths....ok, I can live with that...showers are ok. No sex of any kind.....ok...I don't even feel like it yet, although the twinge is coming back. Nothing inserted into the vagina at all. Ok...no fingers either? You know...they removed my cervix...and inquiring minds just want to know.  |

If you stimulat your clit and the muscles start to contract, etc as you orgasm can that cause a problem? Please be careful. "Before engaging in sexual activity make sure you are healthy enough, check with your doctor of pharmacist." lol don't ya love that on the ED commercials. Great, guy takes viagra, has sex, dies and his family brings up a law suit. They never told us he had to be healty enought to have sex. Nobody told me not to eat 12 big macs a day. SR

Angel, you know the drill, it was burned in, back in school So you just stop having those thoughts for now, you aren't a fool Those thoughts can wait until you are completely healed After that time, still take your time, then you can be feeled I know that is spelled wrong but poetic license overcame me as I just had to go through 79 dictionaries and others of the same Ilk and Roget's too, but fie on them, no way could it be better said For now my dear, you just take your time AND STAY IN THAT BED. The restriction is to prevent infection, so that means no fingers either. Hands are just about the most bacterially contaminated area of the body, even worse than the anus. (More kinds of bacteria on hands than you anus) So... no touchee, no feelee if you want to keep what you have left functional. Love, Opus

NO STIMULATION either...I asked this question....!!! It causes contractions and you cannot do that without re-injuring the insides! I know it is a long time but if I could do it so can you....also, I was told 7-9 weeks and I did what the doc told me and I got the ok to have sex at 7 weeks!!!!!!! Trust me...it is worth the wait!!!! ***leans over and whispers....but, at 5 or 6 weeks I did dibble a little but NO insertion!!!!  GOOD LUCK!!!  xx FREETIME648 xx

i;ve been banned more times than not from sex by my docs ,the last sugery was a large ovarian cyst,and a wonderful 12 cm scar for my troubles,within 4 weks i was playing gently,nothing mind blowing but enough to get rid of the tension. Outer stitches are one thing,its the inner stiches that take there time,so be careful  I'm a   and i'm here to stay

Sounds like you need something of an antisex drug. I remember when I was always getting horny in high school, and needed to calm things down quickly (didn't want to get up in front of a class with a big bulge in my pants). I just thought of the least-desirable girl in the school. (I apologize in advance to the lady, if by some remote chance she ever sees this). That girl's name was Ethel Ziemer, and, well, she looked like her name sounds. At that time, thinking of her was pretty much the trick to attaining wet noodle status. By "sex" they probably mean something very narrow in definition.... expand you definition...think like Bill Clinton....there's a lot of fun stuff that one can enjoy that's not "sex" but sure gets things feeling good.Remember..the entire body is potentially an erogenous zone. The longest I spent without orgasm in the last 20 years was a week when I was in the hospital on morphine with my femur in five pieces. Then I had to do something about it. Knowing just a bit about female anatomy (less than a woman, certainly) I would guess that when the sensitive bits finally get engorged, flushed, hot with desire, the pressure and sensation of the moment might actually send you over the edge without any help at all. Did for me... Take it easy, follow the docs advice. When week 4 rolls around without any pain when you sneeze I would guess a gentle (keep those muscles relaxed!!!) tongue-lashing might not be put of bounds... You do have someone who can help you with that, right? Lucky man, to be married to such as yourself...

I sympathize with you Angel, I had different surgery a year and a half ago, with the same instructions. NO SEX for 6-8 weeks!!! It was rough, but I got thru it ad so will you!!! (I cheated a little at the end)

6-8 weeks... well, it's been a little more than a week now so it's that's now down to a little less than 5-7 weeks. See how time flies when you aren't having fun. You will be able to handle this, you're a strong woman. Just keep that husband of yours on a leash tied to the other side of the bed.
