What am I offering you, good sir?

A man wrote me a challenging email asking what I offered.

We might have a lot in common on the languages and academic level.

A woman with a university degree. Cultured. Good accent. Solvent independent means. Pretty and dresses up well. Can mix with anyone. Speaks fluent French. World travelled.

Tactile. Warm and loving. Affectionate.

Harmonious. Looking for LTR.

No drugs. No smoking. No strong religious convictions.

Loving and family orientated.

Hugely inventive. Problem solver.

Willing to travel or live anywhere.

Good business sense. Into marketing. Advertising.

Can write a newspaper article or press release or write, research or edit a technical paper. Or make it popular for an encyclopaedia or popular newspaper or magazine.

Loves being a team of two on a project. Whether planning the next meal and holidays or helping with decorating or work.

Can teach English. Willing to work from home and live anywhere with an ex pat or affluent man with a two home lifestyle.

Extremely inventive and amusing fantasy for the bedroom. Into safe sex.

Is that enough?

Did none of that come across in my long profile?

And my dozens of blogs?

Was my opening email to him too short? I've been 90 minutes answering emails and writing blogs. I have to get back to work.

It would have been better I had written in less of a hurry showing only my warm positive side.

Self-doubts and challenges from a man don't appeal. If you express any doubt, you should always end on a positive note and make a joke.

For example, 'I don't know whether you will like my accent but if you accept my dinner invitation you will have a chance to correct it and meanwhile I shall be polishing up a range of accents for you in hope.'

I think I am looking for somebody whose emails are rarely or never challenging and always warmly optimistic about ourselves and our relationship.
