Here I Go Again!
I have been having some abdominal pains recently, broke down and went to the doctor (AGAIN) with the end result being that it is my gallbladder and it has to come out.

WTF is a gallbladder?

I had no idea what a gallbladder was until two weeks ago. Sounds like a particularly nasty lil body part to me. I mean it's function is to store bile and make it more potent. Eeeeeew!

Apparently it is a "spare" part seeing as we can rip it out and still function acceptably.

Ya wanna hear about the five "F"'s of who is at risk for gallbladder affliction?

Tough shit! Your gonna hear it anyway! LMAO

1.) Female
2.) Forty
3.) Fat
4.) Fair
5.) Fertile

Hmmmmmmmmm........I hit all five! Guess it shouldn't have come as a surprise to me, eh? What a shocker! Purple has a body part that doesn't work right.......

Oh yeah, the doctors have also decided I am too old to safely be on birth control pills and since I have not yet started menopause I am gonna get my tubes tied too.

Aint getting old grand?

Well.........just one more scar to add to the road map.

Good to hear you are hanging in there.....sometimes thats the best we can do, eh?

The liquid diet is gonna suck I imagine. The cardio is putting me on it because I have moderate stenosis in my brand new valve already due to patient/prosthesis mismatch, badically meaning my heart is smaller than my body and despite the fact they put the largest valve that would fit in my heart, it can not adequately handle the flow required to support my body.

ok hanging in there. just taking it one day at a time. statin meds remove cholesterol and guess where it collects the gall bladder, but your doc will never admit that meds may do it, it says that people with gall bladder disease should not take them, you probably had the start of gall bladder disease and this just hurried up the process..

 geeze girl you sound like I did a few years back, really going thru so much some crap with your health. I hope it makes you feel better, but did they tell you that you will probably put on weight after it is gone, I just wanted to tell you that since you worked so hard at loosing your weight did they recently put you on a triglyceride medicine ? if so that is probably what did it !

Time marches on! Sad, but true.......even though I don't want any more kids and haven't for a LONG time.......I still somehow liked the option being available age wise......oh well, whatcha gonna do, eh?

 If its not one thing its another eh? I guess I'll be next I meet the five criteria too. I had the "you can't take pills anymore" talk with my Doc this year too - my blood pressure was a little high. Once I explained that my insurance wouldn't cover anything she went ahead and gave me another year's prescription for the pill. I was so upset that she even threatened to not give me the pills (cuz of the fertile part). Good luck!!!!

I must have LOADS of personality then! LOL I have quite a few scars and they have never bothered me.
