How Does Your Garden Grow?
How Does Your Garden Grow? Well, no summons as of yet. I am not sure if that would arrive by mail or a court server....got my boyfriend out on bond for $300 and only had to drive through another wicked thunderstorm to get to the jail which is nearly 20 miles away. Eggbert (my car) did a good job dodging falling branches. There were uprooted trees and everything. It was S ~ C ~ A ~ R ~ Y! The jail had lost power and was running on a backup generator so it rook forever to process him out. Patience is a virtue! The wise people who built Trailer Towne here decided to use 2 separate power grids. The front half has NO power since yesterday and do not expect to get it restored until Monday! YIKES! It's good to be in the back half for once! My garden survived the storm and everything is looking better since I put fencing around it. The rabbits had been nibbling my leaves! I had enlarged the garden this Spring so I have quite a bit in there. I have 15 tomato plants, jalapeno plants, purple pepper, red pepper, yellow pepper, green pepper, snap peas, green beans, wax beans, radishes, eggplant, zucchini, yellow squash, cilantro, and strawberries as well as a few sunflowers. I did get stung yesterday......can NOT seem to make it through a season without that. Ouch! The mosquito's here are of insane epidemic proportions after all that rain we got nearly a month ago....they bite ALL day long. We are all riddled with bumps. With the prices of everything going up, did you plant a garden this year? If you did, whatcha growing? |

no garden here, but it's a great idea. the food supply is not only expensive, it's not always safe either. I remember being up north during bug season (Iowa and Maine) flies up North are bigger. John Lee Hooker Recommended: [blog lucyjane78]

. Lessee... I've got several varieties of 'maters going, along with zucchini. Since I don't own my yard, my garden is completely containerized. I've also got a strawberry pot with numerous herbs doing their things... All legal, btw... At least the weeds are doing well! That kiddy kop sounds like he's suffering from the classic Large Turd in a Small Bowl syndrome. Good luck beating the system! Hope y'all have a blastastic Independence Day! The Fourth Of July . . Been a while since they last let me out into polite society. Resurfacing, catching a breath, & catching up. And while I got my Broad-Brimmed Pimping Hat on, could I cajole all of y'all to Comment on, Alone In A Cloud? It's probably the best thing that I've written! Lately... .

I would LUV to have a garden. I do have a few tomato and pepper plants on the side deck, but haven't time to put out a full garden. I hope to change jobs soon and have time to do something other than work. Skeeters? Grab some cattail's and burn the tops. They will keep skeeters away better than citronella even. May your always have the FREEDOM to be yourself. HAPPY INDEPENDANCE DAY!!!![/B] Sex is a part of nature. I go along with nature. Marilyn Monroe

I know that storm was wicked as hell! Nice garden, I'll hop over like a bunny and nibble away on it all! My garden is of 25 Iris's, 30 or 36 Baby Pansie's-violets it's called and 1 Yellow Rose Bush! I wanted to plant one in planters, then I decided not to, cuz of the rabbits here, 3 that comes in my yard to eat!
