 I've been using the same garage for years now. It's family owned and operated and the guys know me when I call in. The one time I called them after some woman ran me off the road and my van was gutted, they sent a wrecker for me and never charged me for it.

They can smooth down a rotor if the damage isn't too great. Also, if your belts are squeaking, try spraying them with soapy water and see if that helps.
Have tongue, will use it. Repeatedly.
